Who We Are

Mary’s WAY is a Catholic Women’s Ministry whose mission is to deepen our love and faith in Jesus Christ, by following the perfect example of His mother, our Blessed Mother, Mary. Our ministry is faithful and obedient to the Magisterium of the church and receptive to the work of the Holy Spirit. We joyfully strive to integrate the fullness and beauty of our Faith into our lives while fulfilling our God-given vocations to know, to love and to serve God within our families, parishes, and community.

We achieve this through lovely, candle light dinners, inspirational speakers, prayer, fellowship, and service to others. We come together in faith, family, and community, and invite you join us. Our non-Catholics friends are always welcome!

Since 2002, thousands of women have come together to be inspired, laugh, pray, and commit themselves to following Mary’s WAY in their daily lives, ultimately becoming closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

About Our Founder

The Founder of Mary’s WAY is Mrs. Ann Winkle. Originally born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ann attended Catholic schools all her life, until she attended Miami University where she received her degree in Special Education. She was blessed to be raised in a large Catholic family who has inspired her to keep her eyes on the ultimate goal, Heaven!

She has taught Religious Education and worked with Youth Groups at various parishes. Ann has been active in the pro-life world and has taken many teens to the Life March in Washington, D.C. over the years. She was named the 2007 “Catholic Women of the Year” in the Rockford Diocese, as nominated by her parish.

While attending a woman’s retreat in Rockford, IL in 2002, she felt a strong call to begin a ministry which would unite women to increase their desire to grow closer to Jesus and re-ignite their passion for a most powerful prayer, the Holy Rosary. With the assistance of her Annunciation parish rosary group, Mary’s WAY was conceived.

Ann currently lives in Mooresville, NC, where she is a Life Coach, specializing in ADHD and a small business owner. Ann has been married for 35 years to her wonderful husband, Dave, and considers her greatest honor and achievement to be that of motherhood, blessed with 4 amazing children. Ann is an active member of St Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, NC and St. Mark’s Church in Huntersville, NC.
